Mike is a proud Irishman and a badged national tour guide with nine years of guiding experience. His love for Ireland comes through in the stories he shares and the places he helps guests discover.
Having grown up working in his parents' pub and later run it himself, Mike brings a lifetime of hospitality to every journey. He enjoys sharing Irish history and folklore, finding good food and introducing visitors to places for traditional music or a quiet pint with the locals.
Mike is also a keen cook, so you may even head home with an Irish recipe to try for yourself.
Whether you already have an itinerary or would like help creating one, Mike can help shape your trip, from airport transfers and private touring to arranging accommodation, attractions and restaurant reservations.
A lifetime of looking after people.
Mike's working life has been spent in hospitality. It began in childhood, helping in his parents' pub; in time he ran the pub himself. That early, everyday experience of welcoming people and reading a room became second nature — and it shapes the way he welcomes guests to Ireland today.
He later moved into guiding and chauffeur travel, completing a national tour guide course and chauffeur licence examinations. Today he works as a badged national tour guide, sharing the Ireland he knows and loves.

Mike's love of good food and his years in hospitality mean his restaurant suggestions come from genuine experience — the kind of places a local host would send their own guests. He's a keen cook too, so you may leave with an Irish recipe to try at home.
